WELL HOWDY ALL! IT"S BEEN AWHILE SINCE I LAST CAME HERE AND WROTE. GOING INTO MY 5TH MONTH OF MY 5TH PREGNANCY AND IT"S ALREADY BEING ROUGH ON ME- PRETTY MUCH BEEN SICK IN 1 SHAPE OR FORM SINCE THE BEGINNING OF IT ALL AND IT GETS PRETTY TOUGH TO SIT @MY COMPUTER FOR VERY LONG. SO I WANTED TO COME IN AND SAY HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO YA ALL JUST INCASE I DO NOT MAKE IT BACK B4 THEN SO..... HAPPY HOLIDAYS ALL!! AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

I AM A CROCHETER AND MOSTLY LUV TO CROCHET BABY ITEMS AND PREEMIE ITEMS FOR CHARITY AND AS GIFTS TO FRIEND AND FAMILY. I AM 6 WEEKS PREGNANT AND OF COURSE WILL BE MAKING A LOT OF THINGS FOR OUR NEW BABY- I HAVE 7 MORE MONTHS TO GO SO..... PLENTY OF TIME TO MAKE LOTS OF THINGS FOR HIM/HER. ANYWAY, I FOUND A GREAT PATTERN ONLINE TODAY FOR A REALLY CUTE PAIR OF BABY SOCKIES AND WANTED TO SHARE IT-

Materials:

Stitch marker

Sports weight yarn (Bernat Baby Coordinates in Aqua Pink was used in sample)
E-4 (3.5mm) hook for 0-3 months

F-5 (3.75mm) hook for 3-6 months

G-6 (4mm) hook for 6-9 months

Make 2

Pattern Notes: mark 1st stitch of each Round. Do Not Join unless stated.

Ch 3

Rnd 1: 11 hdc in 3rd ch from hook, (12 hdc). (ch2 = 1st hdc) Pull tightly, secure end.

Rnd 2: 2 hdc in each st around, (24hdc)

Rnds 3 - 10: Hdc in each st around. Do Not Fasten Off

For Heel

Rnd 11: Sc in first st, hdc in each of next 2 st, dc in each of next 2 st, 2 trc in next st, dc in each of next 2 st, hdc in each of next 2 sts, sc in last 14 sts.(25 sts)

Rnd 12: Sc in first st, hdc in each of next 2 sts, dc in each of the next 2 sts, trc next 2 sts together, dc in each of next 2 sts, hdc in each of next 2 sts, sc in last 14 sts. (24sts)

Rnd 13: Hdc in each st around. Do Not Fasten Off

Cuff

Rnd 14:, Working in back loops, dc in each st around.

Rnds 15 - 17: Working in both loops, dc front post(fp) around next st. *back post(bp) around next st, fp around next st; repeat from * around . At end of last rnd, join to 1st Dc. Fasten off.
